The Kraken announcers were making comment on about how difficult it is being a young high draft pick these days (talking about expectations and pressure from pre-draft onwards) compared to back in Jeremy Roenick's day.
While I'm not sure you'd get candid answers from the current guys, it would be great to get interviews from both past and current players about how things have changed. I can only imagine how the rise of the internet, 3rd party scouting services, social media and advanced gambling have turned being a highly touted draft pick from something awesome into something that I would imagine many players really don't enjoy.
Also refreshing hearing Gourde say they just played a terrible and unacceptable period, and that they weren't good enough.

I don't really like harping on about it, but there is something darkly humorous about KK going elsewhere for more opportunity and being 2nd last in ice-time through 2 (and last 5v5).

I'm not a pissed as I've seen people. I like the later picks. We draft well later and Bor sounds like he can skate at least. Need to se him play obviously.
