Sabres owner to meet with the team today

I have no words

It’s just the Finland pictures, so it’s not as bad as it would be if they genuinely got a bunch of wrong random head shots, but it’s still bad. And unless I’m not recognizing him correctly, somehow Kempe got the right photo.

Big oof..
I'm offended the NHL doesn't hire people who at least watch. I know a ton of qualified artist who can get the players correct. Shit, @EdJovanovski and his MS paint is more qualified. At least hire people who do some research or at least look at the end result. My lord.

This f***ing league does anything it can to dissuade fans from watching their sport.

Stanley Cup rematch tonight, Edm at Florida of course is only on NHL network, which about 2% of the population actually has access to.

Seriously why bother at this point, you idiots.

I'm watching. It is ridiculous how much better organized the Panthers are than the Rangers. Positioning, teamwork and support is there for the Panthers. The Rangers are just a mess with nobody certain where to be at any given time, nobody sure what to do with the puck, players lagging behind the play for those reasons, the support or pressure always being a step or two late. This is coaching and the Rangers lack it. The Panthers don't even play with great pace, but they play with full team support which is even more important. Maybe the Rangers coaches have a theoretical idea what they want to do, but they sure as f*** have no idea how to get it across to the players on the ice (admittedly we have some players who do not want to play that way). Fire them all.

The Panthers GWG looked familiar, turnover in the neutral zone, Panthers put it deep, Ekholm passes it up the boards right to Florida, and they score.

It's literally the only thing Laine was ever good at. Mika used to be a good hockey player, Laine's always been a one trick pony.
I wish Mika could at least remember that one trick. He's in negative trick zone. His signature moves are to give up the puck in the neutral zone and coast back without actually covering an opposing player.
