Lafreniere should be disappointed in himself. If this team was picked in July he makes the team easy. He literally imo has played himself off the team with the way he’s played the past few weeks basically since he signed his deal. I think he’s been lousy

don't disagree. he should look at what jarvis is doing and demand more of himself

NHL had no choice. Sweden and Finland would have declined the invitation if Russia was allowed to play.

I don't hate that US team. Easily the best they've picked for a best on best in a LOOOONG time. Yea Kreider probably shouldn't have made it but he'll be on the 4th line, PKing, and maybe net front on a PP unit.

Taking both Trochek and Nelson is dumb. One should be the 13th but knowing USA hockey they're probably going to get cute and shoehorn one into a middle six role.

As bad as the Rangers are right now the Jets have just given up on life. Best start to a season in NHLs history to the nose dive we are currently witnessing. Yikes!

Agree. We're pretty stacked. Having said that Team Canada is bonkers. But that goaltending....yeesh.
 
75% of the league is getting smoked, playing lifeless hockey, yet it's too early for trades?

Are Nashville, Ottawa, Buffalo, Anaheim, Islanders, Canadiens, Utah all waiting for their 5th year of mediocrity to shake things up? NHL GMs are so brutal

Anaheim and Montreal are still trying to figure out what they have. I don't think they really apply.

Fair to the others though.

Just turned on the coast to coast show for the first time. This commentary is rough. I get what they are going for but it's pretty awful.
 
Another heartbreaker for Buffalo. Surely doing nothing will get them turned around.

Byram and Cozens for Kakko MIller Lindgren?

Fla went thru the same thing. Maybe we should not be so sky is falling when everyone else is going thru the same thing

Are the NHL'ers playing in the 4 Nations Tournament expected to fully compete when playing in those games - or will it be something closer to all-star game hockey?
