What was Cooke trying to do by lifting his left leg?
When you gotta go...

Lost his balance?
Of course the only ones to defend Cooke is...gasp! Pens fans. I'm not sure who said it, but some poster from here said all the Pens do is vehemently attack any one who claims any of their players do anything wrong, and then mock said claim by exaggerating it and circle jerking each other, but he was spot on. Infuriating.
Pens fans aren't the only ones to be defending Cooke at all.
Didn't look intentional, but it's so sad that Cooke is still on the ice. Makes me sick to my stomach. How many more players is he going to injure before enough is enough? Vinny, Lombardi,Cole, Savard, Sundin, Sakic, McDonagh (attempt), Karlsson.
These are just from top of my head. There was a whole coach's corner special on Cooke's dirty career antics.

don't forget the attempted beheading of anisimov...he should've been out of the league years ago but the league is more concerned about hooking infractions
Cooke has worked very hard over the last year to clean up his act. While I'm certainly not a fan, an objective look here says accident. I have been watching hockey for over 50 years and I have never seen a player use their skate blade as a weapon. Not once, ever.

Erin Nicks @erinnicks Chris Neil to Cooke: "You're (expletive) dead." #Sens #Pens
Mark it down, ladies and gentlemen.

Pittsburgh at Ottawa.
With Karrlson done for the season and Spezza's return this season being up in the air as well, I think Neil gets the thumbs up to run amok against the Pens.
I would bet there is going to be some serious headhunting before that.
