My friend sent me this so I had to say kudos, gave me a good laugh lmaoWatching this Debbies/Fish Sticks gameView attachment 755420
Who cares yo Laf might hit 15 goals this year if everything goes wellJack Hughes is sickeningly good.
Of course not, the rangers are always 20 years behind the rest of the league. If they were in the NFL they’d be spending top picks on running backs and giving them 7 year contracts.rangers didn’t get the memo that size has very little meaning in this game anymore. as long as you can skate and have above average IQ, you’ll be an elite player in this game. having basically no one who can skate besides kreider is killing this team.
Am I reading this correctly... you think Richter was the reason we didn't win back to back cups? If so, please elaborate. So I’m curious if Lundqvist and not Richter is your goalie for that cup do you win in 95 as well because I honestly think you do.
I was responding to the fact that you don’t need elite goaltending to win since I never felt that way about richter as compared to hank and I think if he was your goalie at that time you probably beat the flyers in 95 and possibly go all the way again.Am I reading this correctly... you think Richter was the reason we didn't win back to back cups? That's an interesting take. The '94-95 team suffered a huge Cup hangover, but also became a slow, plodding team overnight..thanks to the deadline deals in March of '94. They weren't physical enough on D to compete with the Flyers, nor were they fast enough to overcompensate. I don't think swapping Hank in for Mike Richter changes any of that honestly, but an ECF rematch with the Devils would've been must see TV.I was responding to the fact that you don’t need elite goaltending to win since I never felt that way about richter as compared to hank and I think if he was your goalie at that time you probably beat the flyers in 95 and possibly go all the way again.
I agree. I think that series could have gone 6 instead of 4 if we got a break here or there but we were not beating Philly. Was that a strike year? No Keenan as coach. The Legion of Doom line was too much for us to handle physically. Lindros outmuscled Messier on a couple of plays. Hextall was really tough in some of those years. That's an interesting take. Details? They were literally one spot away in the draft from doing just that. Philly beat them to it.
I went to this Islanders/Devils game tonight because I was bored and my partner is out of town. Getting back to the city from UBS Arena is a f***ing twisted nightmare now that they force everyone to haul back to the Elmont station and don’t run any extra trains toward Manhattan.
was in reference to the caps drafting the next superstar russian. The flyers just did at #7. I am sure the caps would have drafted him at #8 overall instead of Leonard.Details?
Not sure we win 94 without Richter.I was responding to the fact that you don’t need elite goaltending to win since I never felt that way about richter as compared to hank and I think if he was your goalie at that time you probably beat the flyers in 95 and possibly go all the way again.
