It would be but I doubt it happens.

I'm more annoyed that Ruff, for all his flaws, just snuffed that shit out immediately while we've gone through 3 iterations of coaches who would have given the same player endless rope to play with while reprimanding someone else just because.

I'm not worried about them figuring it out, it's early. Even good and great players have slow starts. Their Achilles heel is and will remain goaltending and their inexperienced defense.

John Marino is terrible too. Once Lindy Ruff figures this out they'll be cooking.

I'd rather our overpaid guys than Horvat or Meier. Timo blew in the playoffs and was friends with Evander Kane. Def questionable character to boot. Those two are signed for like a decade.

I'm not saying who I'd rather have, I'm saying that I'd rather have top guys who are underperforming handled the way that Meier was handled than the way our guys have been.
