Gotta say, watching Crosby do all this for his team is something else. Nothing but respect until I see him in the playoffs.

I don’t want our team to face the Pen’s or the Canes. Not because of the possibility of losing but I don’t want to hear those annoying air horns.
NHL should ban them from arenas. Have to believe that it doesn’t play well with new fans watching on tv.
Where else can I use a marine horn for boats?

Pittsburgh's schedule down the stretch has been playoff teams, teams they're in direct competition with for a spot and the Devils. If they get in they will have earned it as they easily have the toughest remaining schedule.

It'd also be incredibly on brand for this years Isles to choke down the stretch though Philly really shat their pants by losing to both Chicago AND Buffalo.

Ok, tell me this won't happen. We get 1st overall in the east. We face an angry Crosby on a mission. Lavi puts our "shutdown pair" of Miller and Trouba against him. The first 4 games of 2022 repeat without a beer league goalie and we lose in 5.

Rangers are better than Pitt, and whereas they have burst out of nowhere scoring with Crosby, Malkin, Letang they aren't the "actually you are going to lose tonight no matter how many goals you are up" Kuch+Point nightmare. THERE ARE NO EASY OUTS. Whoever eventually makes it in will be a bit hot. I don't think the final spot(s) will be a back in. Ultimately someone will eat up the last few games.

The Piles are lucky they just played Chicago who has won 7 road games all year and CBJ who hasn't won more than 2 in a row in 2 years. They also barely beat both of them.

That Penguins team was alot better than this one.

I know people are enamored with the Pens during this hot run but they aren't very good. Even in the game they won vs the Rangers last week they kind of got handled in that game. A few ticky tacky calls went their way and Trouba Trouba'd (though that can and probably will happen a few times this spring.)

Plus if they go back to Jarry the Rangers are the ones who win in 5.... or 4. Dude is ass.

It won't happen because they will get the 3 seed in Metro and Carolina will have to deal with them.

If NYR can't beat Pitt then we would have been absolute frauds. Any team can beat any team, blah blah, but seriously.

Yeah but I'd rather be exposed as frauds by another team. Plus it's happened not rarely that the Cup winning team almost lost in round 1. See 06 Canes, 11 Bruins, I believe 18 Caps too.
