Still, we don't know. I've tempered my original expectations for Othmann but I still think you get a solid scoring middle 6 forward who agitates. Poor man's TW I'm thinking.

Oh Tom Wilson.. i feel like Cuylle is more the wilson mold, big and strong. Othmann isn't short but isn't big. like a slightly taller Gallagher.

Fari enough, maybe a bad comparison. Either way, he's looking to play a more in-your-face game and be annoying to play against, by his own words. He already seems to have that prick-ish attitude, so it's really a matter of how good he gets at the NHL level really.

Either way, I think he would be a useful player on a Cup team.

Schneider, Miller, Laf, Chytil, Cuylle, Kakko is pretty good in my book. Not to forget Jones, Rempe, Edstrom, Perreault, Othmann, Berard, Sykora, Laba, BMB, Fortescue, etc...

We've done decent. They've landed elite players in the mid 1st and 2nd round. We haven't. I'm not talking about winning lotto.

Yes, but I think we have done more than decent tbh and the organization never gets the credit. All we hear about is the Kravs and Lias picks. I mentioned about 15 players that are already very good NHL players or who have a legit chance to be anywhere from solid to a top player in this league.

Yes, but I think we have done more than decent tbh and the organization never gets the credit. All we hear about is the Kravs and Lias picks. I mentioned about 15 players that are already very good NHL players or who have a legit chance to be anywhere from solid to a top player in this league.

It’s good depth. But we could use elite level talent. An elite center would be nice to make up for Zibanejad.

I think Laf will be elite as well as Perreault and many of the other guys are top 4, top 6 potential. Things look good in my view.

Boston has another game with the Canes and still has to play the Panthers, Pens and Caps. Much tougher schedule than we have. I think that we'll be fine.
