This playoffs:

Kaprizov 1 point
Hughes 3 points
Meier 0 points
Hischier 3 points
Stamkos 3 points
Beniers 1 point
Scheifele 1 point
Lee 1 point

Yet somehow only our guys are chokers and don’t want it and whatever nonsense cliche playoff narratives there are.
This is 3 more points than I would have told you Hischier had if you asked me to guess lol

Gotta love all the Bruins fans getting their panties in a twist about the Panthers and Tkachuk being dirty. Haha. That whole Bruins team is filled with rats top to bottom. They went out and got 2 more rats at the deadline to go with their infamous rat. Bruins fans really are something.

Still waiting for Ullmark to turn back into a pumpkin.

Ok, so since it worked last time ...

Still waiting for Akira Schmid to turn back into a pumpkin.

We might have gotten a little ahead of ourselves, if we think Boston was the only obstacle to the Cup.

This team is losing to itself rn, in the 1st rd after going up 2-0 in the series. That's a long way from the ECF.
The Piles just had 6 games where they tried to injure the Canes. They lost Teravainen to a slash. They have quite a few AHL'ers playing for them now.

I actually prefer Boston advancing. I find their team likable , and it’s better for the NHL to have a Boston / Toronto series. Then say a Tampa/Florida, that would be a ratings disaster. Lol

Call me crazy but never really felt the Bruins or Rangers had much of a rivalry, maybe they did , maybe the NHL tries to push it with those post Thanksgiving matinee games, but I think both teams are just like meh when they see each-other.

Florida is a weird team.

Excellent offensive depth, poor defensive depth despite having a pair of pretty underrated players in Montour and Forsling and unreliable goaltending.

They were 2 steps forward, 2 steps backwards the entire season before they rode a heater to get in.

These teams that "under perform" relative to expectations and still get in tend to be pretty dangerous (especially when said team has had the switch flip ala Florida.) Nashville during their finals run was similar (though that was injury based more so than anything else), the Blues when they won and found their game mid season, LA in 2012, etc. Felt like Calgary could have very well been that team this year too but they couldn't get out of their own way at the end of the season (they would have put up more of a fight than Winnipeg.)

I still think the Bruins win (They're not getting out of the EC though. They're likely toast in the next round) but I was surprised at how easy everyone thought it was going to be.

Most of their defensemen are puck-movers and they have one or two guys (depending on the lineup) who are big and can't really handle the puck.

We literally do that the other way around.
It’s a rudimentary skill.

There’s levels. We can’t even do rudimentary thing consistently.

Hitting a wide open guy with a crisp hard pass isn’t a super power…. Although it might as well be for our team.

I can’t comprehend how our team is such shit with the puck.

Pass on the Bruins. City of Boston has had a lot, even too much sports success in the 21st century. They've basically taken over as the premier Northeastern city. It's sad because NY can't get its act together.

The Bruins got a lot of luck for that 2011 Cup, it was almost NY Giants like. If only that could happen to the Rangers like 1-2 times in our lifetime.

If the Rangers don't survive tonight/Monday I'd rather have Edmonton or Dallas win it all.

I still say it's Dallas's to lose now.

If we don't survive, I'm rooting for any and all teams below us in the standings so we get a higher 1st round pick.

The Rangers haven't given us enough confidence to show they'll do the right thing with a pick one spot higher. Up to this point they'll go off the board and try and be the smartest person in the room.

We need at least a three year sample size from Drury and Liles before we can start saying it will make a difference.

Really hope the Cats win game 7 and while the hockey world riots with shock, I spend the summer on my throne of hubris having picked them to begin with.

We should know better than anyone. We've seen some trash Rangers teams go far because of goaltending, and we've also seen goaltending eventually run out of steam every time.

Take that goaltending and put it on a team that's actually good, and that's the Bruins. When it runs out of steam, they'll still be good, but they'll just be good.

Worst-scheduled playoffs in my lifetime. How about some afternoon Edmonton games? Ever think that if all the non local playoff teams, Edmonton would be one people would most want to watch? Not like they have the most explosive forward in decades or anything.

In Tampa, it's crowd DIY for the national anthem other than the first and last verses

their penalty kill is terrible and their goaltending was suspect. Not a great combo.

They also have Marc Staal in the top4. I love their forwards. Their defense can be much better. I'd be all over Orlov if I were them this offseason
