I'd be furious if I'm a Tampa fan. Same exact scenario last night, no goal.

This league is such a f***ing rigged clown show. How bout some consistency you f***ing douchebags. The whistle clearly blew & the ref waved it off adamantly 3 times. WTF

the disallowed a goal the same way the other night in the carolina-islanders game too. i dont understand how the refs are allowed to just make shit up as they go along.

That shoud;ve been 5 & a game for that crosscheck.

And McAvoy just launched himself into that hit on Tkachuk
Pretty normal for every other series except for ours. Thought that hit by McAvoy was great. We are lucky we are not involved in a physical series like these other ones have been.

Tkachuk just gave Hathaway a big crosscheck to the ribs and then the head. That was nasty.

The replay clearly showed he jumped into the hit well before contact.

Regardless, these teams are beating the shit out of one another. Legally or not.

Thought he only got air time after contact, but either way, it's fun to watch when it's not your guys on the receiving end.
Someone else I might give the benefit of the doubt to, but McAvoy is a low key dirty POS. Nice to see Tkachuk take it out on Hathaway who is also a giant POS.

based on what?
based on the no goal call in Tampa last night. At some point we need some consistency. Whistle blows, play is dead, no goal, regardless if the puck was loose or not.

History. Obviously I’m being a Rangers homer and don’t have the data but still.

How many times have 50/50 goalie interference, intent to blow the whistle, or kicking the puck into the net calls gone our way?

How does it always seem to go in favor of a Boston or Toronto?

The officiating is different game to game. Never know what you are going to get. Inconsistent and incompetent defines the NHL officiating.

Has nothing to do with the NHL. We hear the same thing about the NFL, MLB, and NBA. Why would you expect the officiating to be the same every game when there are like 50-100 officials who rotate each game and are humans not machines?

It’s crazy the inconsistency. A call here and there, it’s fine but there are serious bad calls or non calls being made, and honestly, even though it’s been a shit show in the main forum, I don’t blame fans for being upset and complaining.

I'm expecting them to be consistent with the damn rules, when they blow the whistle, what is and what isn't goalie interference. Shit like that. You never know game to game what is a penalty and what isn't. I watch every sport and it's the absolute worst and most inconsistent. Bad officiating has cost teams games in the playoffs a couple of times already.

I actually think the ref seeing if the puck is frozen would be a really hard thing in real time for any of us.

It’s easy for us when we get a million replays, and aren’t watching the game from the ice.

You have to come close to the net, but you also want to try and stay out of the play area if you think the puck is loose if you’re the ref.
