Growing up in Queens & being a city boy until the last 2 years, living in Connecticut has been a real eye opener. Downtown Hartford is 8 miles away, but I am surrounded by farms & have wild life constantly in my back yard. Once you leave the Connecticut shore line, this state is one big forest.

Not true, I lived in Vegas for a decade, not many forests from California to Oklahoma unless you head into the mountains. It's one giant desert.
