Lol nobody in any sports movie ever made was there not a great speech said in the lockerroom to get everyone ready to die for one another. Just put Al Pacinos any given sunday speech on. That always gets me going

I don't mind Messier as the team leader

We still need assistants that have a great understanding of X's and O's and know how to implement them. That's been our issue for a long time .

This entire Devils team is pillow soft. Carolina is playing them by the book, forechecking the hell out of their D & taking the body aggressively whenever a chance materializes. I have nightmares about the Rangers curling away from opportunities to finish a hard check into the boards.
