Our young contributors dont contribute and dont do anything to get more ice time. They all just there. Pathetic. I guess they are fine with being a bust. Soft mentality from the vets trickles down to the kids. Need better leadership here. These kids are content with being pathetic. Wouldn’t these kids want to get better but dont do anything do it.
 
Compare our zone outs and zone entries to 2nd year Seattle. Stark difference
 
Who would have thought Bob would be more useful than Panarin?

Florida should win that series. The Rangers pick moves up to #23.

We will see what Seattle does. Still think Dallas finds a way. Let the Blues get pick #29-#32.

Sure, the Florida roster isn't perfect, but they have just the right amount of thoroughbreds who are all playing at their peak.

Dallas did a really good job of slowing and disrupting Seattle just enough as they were going through the neutral zone, and at the other end went to the net, went to the net, went to the net.

Zito has done a good job getting players like Tkachuk, Bennett, Forsling and shedding some brutal contracts etc. I remember Drury was interviewed for the same job.

Getting Tkachuk for Bennett and reuniting them I think has raised Bennett's game. Before Tkachuk, Bennett was good, but just "kinda there," a sort of complementary component.

Rangers would do well to grab a struggling player capable of more, like a Sam Bennett. Then again, we could just empower our own slow developing players. Probably a combo of both is the right idea for us.

Long long way to go but if the Panthers go to the finals or win it all this is St. Louis all over again. Maybe even more shocking because St. Louis I believe got a new coach in Berube that obviously helped turn things around. Paul Maurice was public enemy number one not even 4 months into his first season with the Panthers.

I really want him to win a cup. Before his injuries he was phenomenal. That's the Staal I remember.
