Nick Suzuki just leapfrogged Max Domi on the depth Chart. He's playing with Armia and Kovalchuk tonight. He's got 1G, 5 A in his last 5 games. He is 2pts behind Domi. Not a bad rookie campaign. Loved this player in his draft year.

Domi will center the 3rd line tonight with Lehkonen and Cousins. Danault is centering the top line. Im sure MTL is open for business.

Islanders and Dallas 1-1 PPG Denis Gurianov. I think some fans wanted him in the Zuccarello trade, I know I did.

Watching the Devils/Habs game, just a shocking lack of star power on the ice and its reflecting in the quality of play. Still, you couldn't pay me to watch Dallas/Long Island so I guess this will have to do.

I get the impression Andre Burakovsky likes his new digs this year in Colorado...eh?

A goal and three assists tonight which puts him on pace for over 60 points. For a guy who never had more than 38 points in a year, I'd say that was a hell of FA signing by Sakic.

I wanted him last offseason. always thought he was an underrated player with the Capitals

The NHL should implement the no mas rule in Buffalo tonight.

6-1 as Rantanen roofs one and still almost 27 minutes left. Gotta figure that Bednar will keep the MacK line off the ice as much as he can but Buffalo is so bad, it might not matter. This could end 10-2 or something like that.

Eichel is for sure going to ask out at years end. Accumulate assets at this deadline. He’s the type of guy I’d break the bank for and not think twice.

i've already made it well known i'd give Kakko and a top 10 pick + another 1st for Eichel. He's an elite C at 23 years old, American born, WANT. Eichel + Zib down the middle is a core you win cups with

MacKinnon is so dam fast and filthy when he has the puck. He might be one of only three players in the entire league who when they have the puck, you know something special is going to happen most likely.

I know McDavid is magical as well but maybe it's because MacKinnon seems to be trying harder and isn't as smooth a skater as McDavid is, MacK just seems to be going faster with the puck.

He's just a treat to watch.

Yah Bura would have been a hell of a get for us had Gorton gotten him.

A couple of weeks ago for shits and giggles to guage what the Avalanche fan base thought of Kreider, I went to their board and asked them if a 1st plus Bura in return for Kreider and Fast would do the trick.

Ummm...they turned me down. Instead, they said we could have Jost and a 1st and they'd let us keep Fast....lol

I don't blame them as I wouldn't want to give up Bura anytime soon. He's pretty much breaking out and as a personal bonus, luckily I just so happen to own him and Mack on my $$ team...:)

I don't think Buffalo would want futures, thats basically all they have.

Picks will be there to be used but I very much doubt they're moving Kakko and another top 10 pick.

Skjei/DeAngelo, Buch, Miller/Lundkvist and a top 10 pick? Sure.

2 Now players, a high end prospect and a top 10 pick.

Ovechkin is an ageless god of goal scoring. Third hat trick in the past six games, 12 goals over that span. 40 in 53 on the year now to lead the league again.
