thats the right answer...if his team was in the 2nd round and he had already mentally moved on, you'd have to seriously think about his priorities and if he's the guy you want. so i'm happy with the answer

and he's aware that sather is retiring and has no doubt heard the rumors, but there is zero chance the rangers have spoken to him yet, so there is nothing for him to have thought about at this point. give it a week or 2 and that will change and he'll have an offer on his plate most likely
