Just doesn’t seem fair for a team to remain on a power play after committing a penalty that led to a penalty shot. Perhaps give teams the option to take the 2 min PP?

Would have been hilarious if they'd called that elbow as 5-min major against CBJ after letting Marchand get away with a punch to the head
 
I'm sure it's like this alot and maybe it's because we've always been in the playoffs for most part the past decade and a half and I was so caught up with us, I didn't notice alot of the other series going on but the playoffs this year seem to have morphed as if on steroids...lol. I mean every single series is amazing and so damn exciting that I can't get enough of it....:nod:

This reminds me of one of my favorite jokes I ever saw here in HFNYR. I think it was 2013 and Biron was still our back up and he’d been notorious for giving up 5 hole goals almost at a comical rate. Anyway we lost in a shootout with him giving up like 3 straight 5 hole goals and someone came in here and made a sincere post about how Biron was struggling and stuff then it says he saw him leave MSG after the game and he was so distraught that he wanted it end it all and threw himself on the subway tracks but luckily survived bc the train passed right between his legs.

We also have an unusual amount of rooting interest due to potential draft picks and our hatred of the Piles.

We have rooting interests in every series and the playoffs have been bonkers as far as unpredictability is concerned.

We'll see as I know they are our main competition. Hopefully the lure of NYC, Brighten Beach in Brooklyn where I was born by the way which has a thriving Russian community, the fact we are right on the cusp of being an elite team in a few years while he's still in his prime. Oh and $11 million for 6 or 7 years will be just the tonic needed to get Panarin to come to Rangertown. He can also be a mentor to young potential studs like the Shesty's, Kravtsov's, Kakko's, Buch's...etc.

I think we have a 50/50 shot as other than hot chicks, no state tax, playing with Barkov and coached up by Q again, I'd think the lure of NYC and the Rangers would be really hard to turn down. He'd be great here too...just the kind of player who would be perfect while we continue the rebuild...:nod:

I was surprised as well that that play wasn't reviewed. That said, I'm glad it wasn't seeing it's likely Panarin's goal wouldn't have counted..lol

What I notice is he has good timing in moving against what the defender is doing. It's not really something a player just learns, the guy does have some talent at one-on-one. He actually does a good job of making something out of nothing, so to speak, even if it's not a goal. You just never know when the goalie might crap the bed on the ensuing shot.
