As much as I would love to see the Islanders miss the playoffs (yet again), I'm pulling for them tomorrow. Our first concern is getting far away from that 9th spot.

with the isles vs jets and leafs vs sens the magic phrase of the day is 'no three point games'

i'm not looking at it in terms of the isles making the playoffs...i'm looking it as us keeping a lead on the 8th spot vs us having a chance to jump into 7th (or even 6th) on sunday.

Winnipeg has a much harder schedule than both us and the Isles. We have the easiest sched. Ottawa also has a tough schedule but Karlsson looks ready to come back this week...

Kinda hope Toronto and the Peg win. Would rather them secure 6-7. Eighth place is a death sentence for NYR.

TOR @ OTT: no 3 pt game, but preferably TOR. OTT has a much tougher schedule and I have my eye on that 6th spot.
NYI @ WPG: no 3 pt game, but I'd honestly rather WPG won. They have a much harder schedule and I expect them to drop points vs WSH or MTL. You have to pass the Isles to get into 6th.
WSH @ MTL: MTL in regulation. For insurance.
FLA @ NJ: doesn't really matter. If FLA wins in regulation, NJ is officially out, which would be glorious. Otherwise, we have the chance to eliminate them tomorrow at home, which would be glorious.

It might be ambitious at this point to be looking at the 6th spot, but there is no excuse not to get at least 6 points in the last 4 games. 56 points might be just enough to get into 6th.

This is HUGE. People are forgetting that even if Winnipeg passes us, by winning that game, we'd pass Washington

Looked a lot like the many blowouts we had when Boyle was a 20 goal scorer out of the blue and had more goals Gaborik. We managed to look pretty average for a team scoring 8 times

Isle and Jets has OT written all over it with Jets winning.

Seriously. Not even worth watching the game it's so obvious (this sounds sarcastic, I promise it's not  )

Any way for the Rangers to get to 6th and face off against the Jets in the first round would be delicious, but I'm just hoping to see that 'X' next to the Rangers name as soon as possible.

So, go Isles :( AND NO OVERTIME TODAY!

This Penguins playoff ad is pissing me off. "Time for stars to shine."

Shows Morrow and Kunitz scoring. Yeah, real superstars right there.

I'd normally root the Bruins in a game like this.

As one comedian I like put it on twitter though, "This won't truly be over until we can find it in our hearts to go back to hating Boston again."

So many games to watch...Pens Bruins. Then the Devils game. Then need to pay attention to the Fishsticks game. The Knicks starting their playoff push as well.

Bergeron line is flying.
