I think Boston would want some skill back. I wouldn't even know how to begin a package for Lucic.

Also, we've had 2 blockbuster deals in the past 7 months. That's already too much roster turnover.

agreed on both fronts. he's also set to make 6 mil for the next 3 years. it sure is a pipe dream...
 
If Karlsson is fully recovered, I think Ottawa can make a deep run. If they had a healthy Spezza, they'd be my pick for cup.

There actually is no more room for the league to accommodate schedule adds.

Bruins are already playing Ottawa on Monday after the season. I don't know if the Bruins play on the Sunday or not, but they'd have to play Pittsburgh on Tuesday or Wednesday, forcing the start of the playoffs out until at least Friday. That also creates issues for all the other teams in the playoffs.

Turning into a bit of a joke. Lock down an entire metropolitan area for a 19 year old. Give me a ******* break.

While I disagree about the game being postponed, it is absolutely not a joke.

If you allow people in and out of the city, meaning the airport is running, trains are running, etc... he can find a way out.

Who cares if he's 19? He and his brother killed 3 people and injured 170 others. If he can't get out of the area, he'll be caught.

Not to get overly political, but there is something called the 4th Amendment, and there is absolutely no evidence that DIRECTLY points to these idiots as the actual perps. Are the authorities going to keep Boston under de-facto martial law for "as long as it takes"? Come on, we're supposed to be better than this. That is all I will say on the matter.

Robbed a 7/11, hijacked a car at gunpoint, and then got into a shootout with cops (killing one and critically injuring another) that involved explosives. I think it's pretty clear, and even if it's not, for that alone he should not be able to get out of the area.

Nah, there's no way they got warrants or anything :rolleyes: :sarcasm:

There is no evidence that you know of. Law enforcement has been keeping this one pretty close to their chests. People have to remember that just because the media hasn't reported something yet doesn't mean it hasn't happened. These details usually come out much further down the line.
 
If the Devils lose tomorrow in regulation they are OUT. I secretly hope they win so we can end their season on Sunday :naughty:

I consider them eliminated. Winnipeg and Rangers can't get any points (Highly unlikely) and the Devils have to win all their remaining games in regulation (Highly unlikely).

Not true. Winnipeg has 48 points, Devils have 42 with 5 games remaining. Devs can go 4-1 or 4-0-1 or even 3-0-2 or even 3-1-1 and still get in if Winnipeg ***** the bed.

Winnipeg isn't in a playoff spot. That scenario would put the Devils in 9th.

Devils have to go 4-0-1 and the Rangers have to go 0-4-0 for the Devils to get into the playoffs. The Devils can't get the ROW tie-break over of the Rangers in any situation. And the Jets would also have to go 1-3-0 at best.
