This needs to happen so it’s one more thing off the check list. I don’t want to have to think about it beyond tonight. We’d know the pick will be no lower than 22.

Things are actually shaping up to bump Winnipeg a few spots, even up to 18th. If Vegas advances that’s one spot, if St. Louis and Dallas win that’s one more, then another for each of Columbus and Carolina making the ECF. Calgary losing was a huge boon to the cause.
