Forechecking is a mark of teams I love. Rangers during that Tortorella era with Boyle etc., and I see that same love of disrupting the other team by the Bluejackets. Johnny Torts did get that aspect of team play established as good or better than any coach anywhere anytime.

Texier actually was a decently well-known prospect a few years ago, despite him being from France. There was a lot of buzz that he has potential to be one of the biggest steals in the draft, and CBJ had to swing big in that draft. If you think he's good, just wait until they bring over Bemstrom, who they got in the same draft.

It's one of the big reasons I'd love to have JD join here. The scouts he's assembled and the job they've done in recent years are absolutely phenomenal.
