Anyone else like me still on a Masters Sunday, Jackets beating 'Ning, Game of Thrones buzz and can't sleep and likely would watch another game after this Vegas/Sharks game ends? ....lol...

Me too. It's been a fun week. The draft lottery on Tuesday. Playoff hockey started. Star Wars celebration. Life is good.

Glad to read someone besides me is still buzzing besides me from what was just a phenomenal sports day with the added bonus of the last season of GOT beginning this evening.

And if you think about it, ever since the beginning of the month with opening day of baseball, followed by the conclusion of March Madness, the NHL Playoffs beginning, NBA as well and the NFL draft coming up, I mean what more can a sports junkie ask for? I feel like I'm on crack since April 1....lol

Vegas looks like the class of the West from my observations of all the teams out there since playoff began as they look WCF bound once again.

They really have it all and are so balanced. I'd be really surprised if they didn't dispatch the Sharks in probably 6 and than take care of likely the Flames unless the 'Lanche pull some Jackets/Islanders antics which to be honest, I wouldn't put it past them too do seeing Mackinnon looks like he's on a mission this year. We'll see how it plays out but bottom line Vegas looks lethal going forward.

I agree. If all goes according to plan and MAF plays decent I think Vegas is the most complete team.

Kakko - Zib - Buch
Kreider - Chytil - Kratsov
Nam - Brassard - Zucc
Nieves - Lias - Fast

Move Vesey in the summer with Smith.

I will tell u right now that is much deeper than both Dallas & Nashville in top 9. ;)

*It will not happen though, because Quinn would use Zucc as usual in top 6 and we need to give younger prospects good roles. :)

I hope CBJ get the cup and it`s due time for John Tortorella. I`m cheering for CBJ and I`ve nothing against the team, and they know this is the year and last chance for a long while to get the Stanley cup!

I think this series highlights the importance of balance. For the NYR, Kakko may be the better player towards a skill/grit balance.

For a team with minimal offensive talent, I can see why you'd prefer Hughes over Kakko.

That's why the devil's will take him

I'm 40 years old. My father is 71. In our combined 111 years of ranger fandom we have seen exactly one cup. This old man is full blown rebuild actually excited about watching kids. What's the point of bringing back a 31 year old on a 3-4 year deal when you could actually get a first round pick if Dallas resigns him? I don't get it. Stop going halfway and actually rebuild in a proper way, nothing half assed just do it. Please for those of us who have never seen a rebuild do it the right way.

Well it`s Zucc decision and his agent and not Dallas @keith hernandez - if they want to explore the open market he will go for it just like Panarin as UFA. Besides I doubt Dallas will sign him for a 2020 1st it cost too much.

Yes I agree Rangers should not go after high profile UFA signings this summer - our defense prospects need to develop without rushing them into NHL from the 2018 draft.
