I don't understand this.... guy was just fine for us in the playoffs including having 17 points in 25 games during our cup run.

Our issue was never McDonagh... it was always not having anyone else BUT McDonagh

We failed because our coach was a vegetable.

He was great during our Cup run which is why we went on a Cup run . Then did nothing ever again.

Gorton did a good job moving some of these guys that he knew weren’t going to get it done. I was wrong on Miller gorton was right on him too

I would say we failed in 2015 for other reasons but I don’t feel like going down that road again. I rather enjoy playoff hockey that’s on tonight

He never played like that again for us. He was a Norris caliber guy that year then that was it.
