What a friggen play there by Heinen....holy crap. Yeah Nylander screwed up but dang....that was ridiculous.

And Tukka stones Marner. Yeah, this is a Bruins night...no doubt. We knew it would happen tho so no suprise

How is Krug Alive that was horrible. Helmet came off before he hit the boards too. I don’t think you see him again anytime soon
 
Leafs look exactly what I think they are.
Bruins were not very good last game, but they aren't even going wild in a physical sense this game, they are just eliminating as much as possible the mistakes they made all game in Game 1.
They coughed up so many pucks at the bluelines last game.

Nylander is supposedly crawling back to good after a very sad performance since returing from his holdout.
I hope the Rangers do due diligence in assessing him before potentially making any kind of move toward acquiring him.

This Bruins-Leafs game is reffed 180° different from the Stars-Predators game.
Leniency reigns supreme in this game, and I have to say I like it better.

Edit: It looks like knee-on-knee by DeBrusk there, that should have been a penalty I think

I feel like the refs love turning a blind eye on the teams with the dirtier reputations

I think Matthews is still a franchise player, though he has to improve for sure. Just my opinion but I think Matthews is a real character guy with great skills but I never thought the Leafs were good enough yet as a team, can't blame the Leafs' lack of playoff chops on Matthews. Dubas has to improve the team.

He went from "hmm, interesting thought" to "stay away" for me in the past 3 or 4 months. He's looked very underwhelming to me since coming back from his holdout.

Leafs are getting absolutely mugged out there. Other than the hit on Krug Boston has abused them
 
I feel the NHL, as a top level league, has some of the worst commentators/pundits/color men. The fact that Milbury gets time on national tv is a travesty. There's no in depth analysis, it's all knuckle drudgery of "took foot off the gas" or "wanted it more". How about what did the opponent do that led to the opportunity? Bah.

Well if debrusk is suspended for that knee on knee kadri will be suspended for that crosscheck lol.

I say let it cancel itself out I want to see these two go at it again.

By the way watching games like this I’ll take a Kakko over Hughes all day. Give me the beast over the pixie
