Hey, I have no problem with anyone who comes hard and clean. I do have a problem with a guy who's sole mission was to try and take a Ranger out. That's exactly what Carkner did, running Boyle from behind when his head was turned. I'd have less of a problem with a guy charging Hank if Hank shut the opponent out in the previous game, but to run a guy from behind is cowardly.
 
I am 100% pulling for Ottawa now. The Habs started it and the Sens finished it. There's no better way to build chemistry than to win a game like that.

He is a smarter and more resourceful coach than Torts. That is for damn sure. He is also a protege of Babcock which makes me like him.

But, I would rather get the teacher than the student if the Rangers have the option.
 
Really wish the Rangers got Torres, was calling for him around the deadline. Been a great pickup for SJ thus far.

I hate playing Ottawa but I respect them tremendously. Montreal, not so much. Bunch of punks that got their cheap, dirty ***** handed to them.

Was surreal to see.

If the Rangers get knocked out I'll be rooting for Ottawa to come out of the East. Besides them who else is there to root for? Alfredson is the man, Karlson is Karlson, and I'm really hoping that Fasth can have a similar (or better) impact like Silfverberg.

Montreal just isn't ready. Too many super young players. They need to lose a few wars.

I don't think anyone winning anything from the east. West is going to take it again.

Ottawa is a nice dark horse, but they just don't have the guns. Pitt doesn't have the defensive depth/goaltending. Washington doesn't have much of anything outside of Ovie.

Boston is hard to pin down, but I don't think they are dynamic enough.

Its too bad, the east looks like its going to get blown right open. Rangers, if they had a competent coach, could have really made some noise this year. Oh well....

Still think any team in the east is going to get manhandled anyways. So I guess it doesn't really matter.

Don't respect Ottawa at all. Neil is a cheap shot artist and the Carkner attack on Boyle was bush league.

Hey, the EA simulation has the Rangers winning it all, and they've gotten just about every season right this far so.. :naughty: Nothing's over yet, and they can still do something if they collectively wake up and have some of those post shots bounce/go right in.

Pfft, the only thing the Rangers are going to win this season are coupons to the Sizzler for placing third on the mini-golf course.
