Jeez for all of our complaining at least our team didn't get embarrassed like the Habs and Nucks (yet).

because we have Hank.

Thank god for Hank.

Put Schneider or Price on this team and watch us implode.

I thought it was a genius tactic by MacLean.

Everything was going fine for the Rangers and was looking like a quick series at that point until Boyle got Carkner'D. We were shocked.

Exactly.

If you look closely at the Senators playoff history over the last 10 years, we've always has high talent rosters, but little (tee hee) jam. We were dominated by the Ducks in the final, out muscled by Toronto several times, and banged around by nearly everyone. As soon as the Sens met up with any adversity, they'd shut down.

One of the biggest changes MacLean made was to give the team a physical identity and never give up attitude. Not just bringing up goons to fight, but actually forchecking, and having some guys on the roster who don't wilt like daises after taking a few hits.

I just wish the guys would've given Boyle a pushback right away in game one (not a gooning like game 2, but an old fashioned hockey scrum) right when he gave Karlsson a facewash. Allowing Boyles' presence to simmer in Karlsson's mind until the next game was a bad, bad move.

This drama with the Habs is hilarious, I love how Maclean has handled this whole thing. Gorges shooting a puck at Turris, what the ****?:shakehead

lol he wouldn't be the first guy in the league to do that... i thought it was pretty funny considering it was ottawa. i doubt he was looking to do anything but make a point, but who knows after that game

montreal got tired of the horrendous officiating over the past 2 games and took liberties... classless, but i wasn't entirely surprised. glad prust kept his head cool the entire time. don't think i saw him do anything over the top. still respect him

other than hitting conacher in the head you mean?

Just got back from the Sens vs Habs game. Could people hear the Pageau Pageau Pageau chants to the tune of Ole? Great game to be at.

Here's hoping the Rangers get a nice win to claw back into the series.

i wish the Rangers had some emotion and intensity... maybe they need another couple of fights like last year in the Sens Rangers series..

i wish NYR games was like this..

soft teams don't do well in the playoffs.. this year's NYR team is soft.......

Horrible list for the Calder nominees. No Brodin or Yakupov? Cmon....

I think Gallagher over Yakupov makes sense.

Huberdeau over Brodin doesn't, IMO.

List should be:

Saad
Brodin
Gallagher

In that order, with Saad winning it.

Notice how each of these rookies played a key role on playoff teams.
