Poor Yak and Huberdeau getting robbed. Saad is good, but he had less points than both and doesn't bring much of an all-around game.

What?

Saad is a far better defensive player then either of those two ,, Infact it isn't even close

Saad stepped onto NHL ice with NHL level defensive game and has been thru season increasing his PK role. Also ranked 2nd among NHL rookie forwards in takeaways (Behind Riley Nash)

Brodin should have been the winner, IMO. Huge part of Minnesota having success this year. Gallagher a close second. Once again, too much emphasis placed upon offensive production and the "sexy" stat lines.

Rangers would not last vs Habs or Sens... Rangers are getting pushed around by the Capitals of all teams :help: great coaching Torts. he must be telling the players to look the other way.. at least NYR has not seen this yet...

imagine if NYR toughness came to this being a punching bag

Rangers need to have a game like this...

Huberdeau was better than Gallagher and Saad

Disagree on both accounts.

Saad should win it. Gallagher was an important piece to a division winner. Huberdeau had a good season, but he didn't have much pressure on him and was inconsistent/useless when not scoring. Saad is a two-way beast who is great along the boards and has talent to go along with his size. Saad only had four less points in two less games.

I'm happy with Miller but man watching Saad fall to the second round that year was weird. Still do not understand how a guy that was once thought to be a top five player dropped that low only to live up to his original expectations after all. Great pick by CHI.

I remember Jonathan. incessantly bashing him every time he was brought up. To be fair, he was heavily criticized for his effort level for several months leading up to the draft by everyone.
