Hes 32 and will eat a spot for a kid. IF you want veteran leadership, you can get it for even cheaper on the UFA market.

If the Rangers wanted to re-sign him they would have done so instead of trading him. He's not signing here and we're not re-signing him, nor should we, it's better for everyone if he re-signs in Dallas.
