Think of it as rooting against their draft pick.

I bet they feel sheepish about not giving up their 2012 pick right about now. Real sheepish.

Matteau is almost PPG in the QMJHL playoffs. :sarcasm:

Have patience my friend.

I want them to start winning and I want us to shatter their playoff chances in the back2back at the end of the season.

The best case scenario is that they finish 9th and don't win the lottery. No playoffs and a mediocre draft pick.

Both solid points, though on Kershaw's, that's cutting it close lol. Killing their playoff chances on our own accord would be awesome but the duality in that situation is that they can do the same to us. I'd be in shambles if that happened.

I don't know if it's acceptable to re-reply to a post you responded to 6 hours ago, but my subconscious has been working on this.

The Devils also had less then a 6.4% chance on winning the lottery, and less then a 6.4% chance of Larsson falling to them.
Was it really lucky that Larsson fell to 4th? I'd rather have the top 3 over him.

Damn that was awful defending to allow that 2 on 1. Which defender dogged it there?

As much as I also hate them...they have been a model franchise for almost 20 years...somebody was doing something right for that franchise . Lou is /was the real deal...top GM for 20 years and we could never lure him away even with all our money .

In hindsight, yes, because Larsson is the definition of pedestrian. But at the draft he was considered a superstar in the making.

It was extremely lucky.

Where does Ottawa find all these young talented offensive players? :shakehead

If the Rangers go the rebuild route, I hope they take notes from the Sens and not a team like Edmonton.

Those players would not fit here, because when they don't score they offer nothing else. :sarcasm:
