Henrik now 1st in league with .928% among full time starters and second with 2.07GAA among fulltime starters (33GP vs Rask 27GP and 1.95GA)
 
"Dirty play"?

It's a poke check that missed and tripped the shooter. It happens, this one is not subtle but it's a poke check. Dirty play? Go **** yourself you fat cow.
 
LOL NBC making excuses for the Devils, wtf!? Milbury saying Miller tripped Elias? No goalie has ever been called on a play like that. It's a poke check gone wrong, no matter if he meant to do it or not. Trust me, I'm a goalie, I've dnoe that a million times and never got called for it.

I was just wondering. Can the ref decide to give Elias a 2nd chance on the shoot out because of it?

LOL. You are correct. Devils, Flyers and Rangers were all right next to each other in the standings. Got confused. brb with more accurate info.

Edit-This is getting extremely tedious as the Flyers always make the playoffs.

Yes, I know that they score a lot more over there, like an extra goal a game or something crazy like that, but Bryan Bickell would be tied for 4th in points with this team. How sad is that?

Is NBC actually crying about the shootout?

They can rule a retake but it has to be fairly quick obviously. Can't do anything about it after BUF takes a shot. There's really no way for the ref to do anything if the ref doesn't pick it up right away.

When you roll the life out of the opposition, bottom 6 gets more time, more PP time, more confidence and their bottom 6 are obviously pretty damn good.
 
As per my research, at least ONE of either the Devils or Flyers has made the playoffs in every season since NJ's inception in 82-83.
 
Are there any plans to get rid of loser point next season? I haven't been following the changes that much.

Atleast there will be no more top seeds per division next year. Caps should not be in 3rd place.

Brian Boyle got plenty of ice time last night. Guess I shouldn't complain though, he scored that beauty of an empty netter. :sarcasm:
