It's a good start. I want him picking his teeth up off the ice when the Sharks come to NY.

if i was one of the people interviewing the players id love to hear on why they didnt feel the need to stick up for their teammate :help: that really disturbed me..

LA is up 3-0 2 mins into the game according to NHL.com?

Thats on pace to be worse than us against SJ..

EDIT - Nvm. Their scoreboard was just being stupid...

Sens - Kings turned out to be a great 3rd period. Great battle level shown by Ottawa coming all the way back to earn a point. Sens power play is so deadly, Ryan just makes it even more sick.

For a little guy not known as a pest, Conacher sure seems to stir up a bunch of ****.

I continue to wonder at when Anaheim is going to let one of their young goalies go.

Frederick Andersen deserves a shot in the NHL, and he has Fasth, Hiller, and Gibson in front of him on the depth chart.

Hiller is a UFA next season so there goes 1

It's hard to let a guy with a goalie mask repertoire like Hiller go.

One thing I have noticed about the NHL is that many teams are happy to ice veteran mediocre goaltenders, but no team would ever consider going into a season with two promising rookie goaltenders to fight over a starting position.

Even in 05-06 we had Weekes as the apparent starter until he was unseated.

They're not quite rookies, but in Tampa Bay you actually have a pretty interesting thing going on with Bishop and Lindback. Granted, no team that has even a remote dream of cup aspirations would have two young and unproven goalies duke it out, but there are few storylines more entertaining to me than a battle for the starting goalie position. There was a really interesting article on the Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper on grantland the other day, btw. Great read. Has me kinda rooting for them.

A lot less pressure on those two in Tampa than Reimer and Bernier in Toronto. :help:

This looks like it might be an "on" year for Gaborik, which is bad news for everyone in the division.

Bordeleau takes a run at Seidenberg. Thornton immediately challenges and fights Bordeleau. It's like I'm watching a different sport. Hockey is different here. :shakehead
