I didn't say he'd be a top notch goalie, I said he needs to work on his rebound control and positioning. Seemed like you wanted to turn it into a big debate, I could care less about it. Thus my response.

Those useless fools blame everything on fighting. If there was no fighting, there would be so many "tough guy" punks running wild carving up other players with their sticks.

Fighting is a much easier target than hitting. If Kessel pulls his baseball stunts even without goons, teams will send out their best hitters to get him with his head down. There's players in this league that are elite at it.
 
I'm pretty sure the Oilers are being paid by both Pit Bull and Bud Light every time they score a goal.
 
Who would have thought that EDM-WPG, MTL-TOR, CHI-WSH would have high-scoring? :laugh:

If the Rangers were in games like that constantly, people would be complaining that they're not good enough defensively.

Alex Urbom on waivers. I don't get it...isn't he one of the many stud D prospects the Devils have? Why would they waive a future top 4 D? :sarcasm:
 
I knew MaClean was going to fail as coach of New Jersey by the first game; when he played Urbom and Taormina more in minutes than any of the established defensemen on the roster.

Too much depth.

With Larsson in early talks for the Norris, and guys like Gelinas and Merrill in the race for the Calder, they had to cut some salary.

Plus, Severson is a lock for WHL defenseman of the year so it's probably preparation for him next year too.
