I think most predictions have Rangers just above Islanders this season - I watch a stat guy who are using different hockey magazines as source. But I refuse to give up before the season start! But concerning the whole rebuild topic - it`s ideal to be bottom table though in next year draft in 2019. :)

Thanks for the replies to my post people, well appreciated.

Ps. Kreiderman, I saw the item Traktor Chelyabinsk did on you, that is just amazing!

And Erik K. is a shark now and I wish him good luck since he is a well known player, special and elite in NHL. ;)

Domi's actions aside for a moment, there's part of me that just shakes my head at Ekblad standing there leaving himself completely vulnerable, while looking to the refs like livestock caught in barbed wire.
I admire his cool in front of the situation. I will never understand how hockey players don't lose their minds more often and just slashs the knee of a player in situations like that.

I am reminded of a story Brendan Shanahan liked to share from his childhood.

Growing up, Shanahan played both hockey and soccer. In soccer he became used to players getting in each others faces, but keeping their hands down for the most part.

So one day he's playing hockey and an opposing player gets in his face. Shanahan approaches the situation like he's playing soccer and keeps his hands at his side and is looking at the ref to jump in. The other kid turns around and pops him in the face, sending Shanahan down on his ass.

Needless to say, Shanahan learned to keep his hands up and not assume the ref was going to be jumping to his rescue after that.

I have no desire to see Crosby get hurt and/or miss games, but a part of me would kind of like to see him get punched in the face in the next pre-season game so we can get a good read on just how the NHL figures out suspensions....

Well, we know the league wont tolerate licking anymore.

Perhaps someone can try honking or "stealing" his nose?

It's either that or a titty twister.

No I mean there isn't really a spot for him if Panarin comes here.

We won't be trading for him but if he intends on going to UFA, We're probably the favorites.
Ah! Yeah I agree. I think there is no way he doesn't come here.

1. Wants to be here and made it known.
2. We need a scoring winger.
3. We have the cap space.

Maybe if the league counts Domi's suspension games as goals in addition to the actual goals he scores he might actually hit 20 this year. First line center courtesy of Marc Bergevin. I can hear Chayka laughing all the way from Arizona.

Domi`s suspension is no surprise to me and he plays like that somettimes, but in pre-season over excited is unfortunate for A. Ekblad.
