Zenon Konopka was waived today.. he is a awesome Face off guy and tough as nail,, NJ or Boston will grab him
 
The one time I root for the Blackhawks and they're playing terribly. Isles up 1-0.

Makes no sense at all.

Hockey USA doesn't care what team they are from and the US is a big nation who will get behind its team no matter what players from what teams are on it.

Outside of older McDonagh, their defense is average, and they stacked their top line, leaving their best forward to play with crap.
 
Isles can match Chicago's speed but you can tell the Hawks are being deliberate while the Isles are going full throttle.

Great game to watch. I still can't believe they unloaded Barker for Leddy.
 
Okposo top-10 in the NHL in scoring. Helps playing with Tavares but he's had a great year.

As an American I'd rather have him and Ryan in Sochi than Callahan and Pacioretty
 
David Poile, manager of probably the most successful small truly small market team in recent memory, doesn't care about small markets. Lol, ok Howie.

Isles are playing well lately. Ugh.

Jeff Skinner is absolutely blazing hot. Another two goals today. I believe he has 20 now?

EDIT; Nope 18th.
 
And there's the hat trick for Skinner.

Carolina has put together a good stretch lately. They might make the playoffs.
 
I have to agree, I thought Okposo deserved a spot. I'm stunned Oshie and Wheeler are in over him.

Oshie, Wheeler, Brown, Callahan. JVR, Paccioretty are all guys I'd have to think long and hard about taking over Okposo right now. That they all made it over him baffles me.
 
The Rangers are losing ground left and right tonight. Montreal is tied. Columbus is tied. Washington and Carolina went to OT. Ottawa is going to win.

I was about to mention this. Teams that were no threat before are really catching up.

Not just missing the playoffs, but being in the bottom 5 is a very realistic possibility.
