Henrik wants the 2013 Vezina back. The NHL GMs voted for Bobrovsky over Lundqvist. Columbus had to pay Bobrovsky more and now Bob is once again the goaltender from his Flyers days. That Columbus team is headed for another lost season.

What does that have to do with last season?
 
Am I the only one that can't stand listening to the Boston color guy? I know he's in Boston, but if he wants to be on TV he should really learn how to pronounce the letter "r".
 
Andrej Sekera is having a hell of a season.

One of the most underrated d-men in the league.

It doesn't, but it's funny how we all had a feeling that he'd regress this season after winning the vezina last season. It happens every year, some obscure goalie comes out of nowhere to win the vezina (and Hank gets screwed in the process), and then is never the same again. Hank has been consistent year in and year out since his debut.
 
I remember the Rangers getting boned on a broken stick slash no call last season. It's the easiest call to make I don't understand how it's missed.
 
My memory might be hazy but does anyone else remember the non-call on Chris Drury getting cut on a high stick against the Penguins in the postseason? That was the worst non call I have ever seen lol.

He's brutal to listen to when he goes into homer mode, but he's one of the best pbp guys in the league.

Speaking of... listening to other broadcasts it's becoming more clear by the day that Sam needs to retire. I love the guy more than anyone but he just can't keep up with the pace of the game anymore. He misses whistles and misidentifies a player on nearly every shift. It's almost comical how many times Joe has to correct him during a broadcast. C'mon Sam, you're pushing 70, time to retire and just work on weekends for the NFL.

I wish Maloney did the color like he does on radio and guy got a new play by play man as well

I won't lie, it's harder for me to hear a NY accent than other accents, but when a NY accent is really obvious like this guy's Boston accent, I hear it. They may have subdued NY accents, nothing compared to these guys.
 
anyone watching Wild Jets.. boy i hope Sather is NOT looking at Heatley although I wouldnt mind Dumba Coyle or Zucker. id love Brodin but i doubt Wild would trade him..

Sooooo Snow traded the 5th overall pick in 2010, a likely lottery pick in 2014, a 2nd rounder in 2015, and his teams best goal scorer for one season of Vanek and a 3rd liner like Clutterbuck

Isles are currently in last place and third from the bottom in the conference. If they defer that pick to next year I still think it'll be a lottery pick.

I think both Snow and Capuano don't last the season.
 
Honestly, Clutter's career might be done in a few years. Guy can not stay healthy, and his body is REALLY taking a beating.

Garth got violated on that trade. Awful.

Nino is having a very solid season too. Playing some great hockey in Minny. Players tend to do that when they play for a real organization.

Man I'd trade MDZ straight up for Dumba and for Heatley kinda looks like Pyatt, a big bodie floating around and doesnt really do any good.

Tavares looks really frustrated. I wonder if he's really pissed about the trade.

The trade made zero sense. They had just won a huge emotional game against the Pens, and the trade is made a few days later.

4-9-0 since the Vanek trade. Snow is just a terrible GM. Nilsson and Poulin stink, but Isles beat writers called them VBK and Richter lol
