While Pardy was trying to keep the glass from hurting the Chicago fans, a fan ripped his helmet off and his date poured a beer on his head

One more thing, since the Vanek trade I have a new found hatred for the Islanders. Having him and Grabner all of a sudden makes them the most popular team in Austria. I mean I'm okay with hockey getting media attention because we're rather a skiing-nation, but I just can't stand to have to talk to people who brag about how good the Isles are going to be, while most don't know John Tavares (there's a couple of die-hard Isles fans from the 80s who I respect a lot). It'll be quite hilarious once Vanek leaves for St. Paul.
