The hits keep coming for the Sens development folks -

They've had some serious whiffs and this would be another.
What is it?

The single biggest thing that killed the Thrashers was shitty ownership and an untenable arena situation since the Hawks owner wanted nothing to do with hockey. But I'm still not convinced Atlanta is a good market for the league either, it's not exactly known for being a great pro sports town to begin with.
remind me of the Braves home game stats attendance number again? i know it's apples to oranges sports wise but that statement is a little....ermmm...skewed at best.

Just checked the standings for the first time in forever...what's up with the Devils? Is it all injury related?

Not the entire story, but the goalies haven't stepped up behind the injuries and worse D-zone play, they're very Sabre-like in their D-zone coverage this season. They aren't scaring anybody this year.

Georgiev was asked if any family will be at the game, he said "my girlfriend should be here" lol

I genuinely don't think anyone wants to be there

Some of it is the goaltending but they are also dealing with having a blueline that is very, very young due to injury. Hamilton is out all year, Siegenthaler has missed a lot recently, and they only have two regular defenseman over the age of 26. There is a lot similar to the Sabres in that regard.

I remember Tim Murray racing to his phone to try and trade up for Puljujarvi at the draft when he fell a spot. What a great drunken scout we once had!

Instead he went with a hunch with ANylander instead of the guy they had interviewed and scouted the most in McAvoy. That draft though - so many guys who became very little littering the top half of that first round.
