Not sure why the Bruins are part of that group... I'd remove the Wings and (to a lesser degree) the Isles too. That leaves the Habs, Rags, and Jackets competing for the last spot.

EDIT: Even DailyFaceoff has it down to those three.

As long as the Pens keep playing the Sullivan system, they'll get that top 5 pick.

Here's hoping! I'm not terribly anxious about it either way but it would be nice to at least get into a (non draft lottery adjusted) top 5 slot.

-wise if Anaheim wins their game. Boston losing again sucks but Buffalo won.

Pens need to take care of business and lose to Stl and Dallas this week. Those two teams should not be losing to us on their home ice.

Hope the kids play well on upcoming road trip but yes on losing to the Stars and Blues. Hell the penguins usually never play great in Chicago and the Hawks.

They briefly touched on the Bruins’ during the most recent episode of Puck Soup. Will the Bruins actually bottom out or whether they’ll try to reload.

I’m sure others are. I can’t ignore that this is basically Barry Bonds of the NHL. The dudes obviously juicing but the NHL is so committed to making this a feel good moment it’s getting swept under the rug.

They just need to get to the 14th spot over who's ahead of them and that difference isn't all that great.
Just sit in that #3 spot out of the wildcard but overtake Utah, Canucks and the flames all who share near identical games played. Those teams have nothing to play for since their so behind even if they did win out, they couldn't overtake St. Louis/Minnesota.

So, they are 13th at the moment, they just need to overtake 1/2 of them.

All I hope is he doesn’t f*** up any of the lads that are up. That’s all I give a shit about anymore. I haven’t watched a full Pens game since November. That’s something I haven’t done for this long since I first started watching Hockey in the late 70s.
