We've known since the beginning

But you'll still get HF banned if you bring it up
About OV being on gear? Is that really taboo? We used to guess about NFL players all the time.

Who was the LB for the Patriots who went from special teams to pro bowl late in his career?

Go try to even INSINUATE it on the main boards. Let me know how long the post lasts.
Malkin tore his ACL and MCL in February 2011 and was doing on-ice workouts 2.5 months later. Karlsson also had a miraculous recovery timeline following his achilles tear. I think it's more or less an open secret in the league (and every major sport).

I’m pretty sure like 80% of the NFL is cycling on and off. Combat sports, 100% of elite fighters.

They're all on stuff that makes recovery faster, at a minimum. Some isn't all that illegal. But I'm sure boundaries are pushed.

Technically steroids are not illegal. Procuring them without a prescription is. It wouldn’t surprise me if they proscribed to athletes recovering from injury, or for other more dubious reasons.

If Sid or Geno were announced as week-to-week, they'd be gone for half the season. Ovechkin probably misses 5 games. Same thing happened with McDavid. Dude missed like half a dozen games after an injury that would have sidelined Sid/Geno for 30+ games.

Our stars' injury luck versus other stars in the league was truly brutal.
