It's still insane to see all the former Penguins explode offensively and we can't even buy a goal.

Add Granlund and McCann to our lineup and it's a different team, although that's probably wishful thinking with that donkey Sully still at the helm.
Don't worry, Yohe is on his narrative to make sure it's all Karlsson's fault. Not Sullivan.

Ten million helps dry tears

But it must be less fun than he expected
He was getting that money in San Jose, too. But he agreed to the deal because (apparently) he wanted a shot at winning.

Oops.

If he was just going to collect his salary and never see playoff hockey, he might as well have stayed in San Jose over Pittsburgh.

Weird, I wonder what happened to Lukas.

Karlsson believed the myth that Sullivan was a great coach, like everyone else that the Pens traded for or signed. Now he's made into the scapegoat by brain dead dipshits, led by an epic twat - Josh Yohe.

If he wants to see playoff hockey, he should probably learn how to play defense and how to play within a system that makes the playoffs :dunno:

This isn't even a comment of "the Penguins would be a playoff team with him playing well", it's that no playoff team is going to want him with how he has shown to not be effective while not playing as a rover.

It'll be even more crazy when it DOESN'T impact his Ross pursuit...
Doesn't impact because he would have lost to another anyway or do you mean if he won it anyway? That can be interpreted both ways.

If it's the latter, that would be crazy. He only managed P/PG to this point. If it's 3 weeks then that's 10 games missed.
If we go off last year's totals then the winner this year will probably need 130-140+. So he'd need to do that in 72 games.
That's probably asking too much, even from the best.

Sid and Geno have missed way too many games due to injury/lost out on countless awards in their career for me to cry for McDavid.
Seriously. If there's one thing I do envy about McDavid, it's that he's constantly avoiding "worst case scenario" whenever he gets hurt. In comparison, Sid/Geno always seemed to end up WORSE than worst case scenario.

McDavid - breaks both legs and arms, estimated recovery is 5 years, ends up missing 1 week
Crosby - concussion, estimated missed time about 2 weeks, ends up missing all season with undiagnosed neck injury

Or when he blew out his knee but it happened to be the last game of the season

Oh no, I expect him to be so good, that he'll STILL win it.

I know some dudes be putting up big numbers lately, but he's so damn good
