Week to week = at least a month
Day to day = more than a week
Banged up = day to day
Dealing with an injury = stop asking about it
“Should start skating soon” = dead

Damn, so the whole Sharks fanbase should be skating soon then“Should start skating soon” = dead
Seems that's true across all sports. If it weren't for sports gambling mandating that teams show their cards on injuries by a minimum time before each game, we'd get zippo from teams.Nah. I'm just used to being in the dark about this team's injuries until pregame of the next game.
(Guess I'll just use their graphic, since we didn't tweet one out yet)
Coachella Valley tonight. Past couple years I'd groan seeing them on the schedule. They have existed for 2 years, and are 15-1-0 against us during that time. They went to the Calder Cup finals both years they've existed.
Thing is, though: This is not the same team anymore. Not just because Bylsma's now moved up to Seattle. Here's the Firebirds' top six scorers last season:
Kole Lind- gone (Texas)
Max McCormick- still there
Cameron Hughes- gone (Texas)
Andrew Poturalski- gone (Cuda)
Shane Wright- gone (promoted to Seattle)
Marian Studenic- gone (SHL)
Their defense currently doesn't have Cale Fleury or Ryker Evans, as both are up with the Kraken. No longer has Schuldt, since he signed with us obviously. They don't have Driedger or Joey Daccord in net anymore.
What they've replaced them with is the first wave of Kraken prospects. So while they've had ownage on us ever since they started playing, this is a completely different situation than it has been.
