Lots of times, it looks like the Blackhawks are getting by on sheer luck. They definitely do not look like they are sure of what to do when the Bruins are pressing in the Hawks zone. It reminded me a lot of how the Rangers sometimes looked against Boston.

Yeah, game could've looked very different if Crawford was aware of the existence of his left arm.

Six goals from a team in front of Lundqvist would be pretty swell.

**** exams, seriously.

When I have free time, I witness stone-age hockey and lopsided series.

When I have exams the night before, I miss epic games like this one and Italy-Japan today 4-3 in Confederations Cup.

/Rant.

Don Cherry at the intermission on CBC was talking about Girardi and was saying he should have a Norris.

Great game, I want the Bruins to win, but I don't mind if they take 7 games to do it. :D

Cherry lol. His dream team would consist of Kevin Bieska, Roberto Lalongo and Loosik.

One of the best matches I've ever watched

It was an ESPN3 event, so you can watch the replay here.

Thanks for link, could watch on demand. :) My curiosity just made the grave mistake of checking the score on my phone, not as entertaining when you know the final result lol.

Crawford would be a lot better if he used his glove hand to catch the puck instead of as a blocker. Not entirely sure who would allow a goalie to come up through the ranks without trying to rectify that.

The catcher shouldn't be a rebound factory.

The rebounds off Crawford's mitt may have occurred, but what hurt the Blackhawks was a clearly seen shot sailing by him, and he was not even close enough to flub it, he simply wasn't there, and the puck sailed nice and clean into the net, uncontested. Quite surprising how Crawford blew it, a few times.

Kruger is very good. Could go down as one of better pure defensive players this generation IMO. He's gonna have a bigger role next season.

The Saddledome needed to be replaced within the next 3-4 years. If the cost of repairing the arena exceeds $100M, they would seriously consider relocating for two years while they build a brand new barn. Even if they do go the renovation route, there's no way I can see the Saddledome being event ready in the next three months. Keep in mind that there is no flood insurance in Calgary, the city is 3500 ft above sea level. This is going to be an expensive problem to solve for that organization.

I love hockey with all my heart and hate hearing about damage like that, but I have a hard time giving half a **** when human lives are at stake. The Saddledome is just a thing; they'll figure something out. The most important thing is for people (and animals) in the area to stay safe.

I was thinking about that. What if a family went out of town and left the animals in the house? :(
