I just realized, Roszival is gonna play against his long time buddy, Jagr.

Good for the Preds. Josi is a very good young d-man.

That was a good draft for the Preds, Wilson, Josi and Lindback in the 7th, traded him for a #1.

Look at the Dmen from the '08 draft: Doughty, Bogosian, Pietrangelo, Schenn, Myers, Karlsson, Sbisa, Gardiner, Del Z, Carlson, Voynov, Josi, Schultz, Hamonic, Scandella, Kundratek, Matt Martin, Spurgeon, Redmond, Demers and more on the way.

dont forget Voros 2.0 i mean Dale Weise.. Canucks got him for nothing.. 4th round pick. its a shame that Sather couldnt even get a 7th round pick for him and ends up losing him to the Canucks off of waivers... Matt Martin is a winger not a dman..

It's a face-to-face firing, and we live in a brand new world of technologies.

I have no idea why people are so up in arms about this.

It's very simple, some people wanted Eakins to coach the Rangers so naturally, when Edmonton signed him they had to find something to complain about and they latched onto this idea that they should have flew him 12 hours over to Edmonton and then right when he got off the plane fired his ass and given him his return ticket back home.

Duh

Surprised to see Subban win the Norris Trophy. Thought he had a really good season but I didn't think he was better than Suter.

And apparently Krueger was in Switzerland.

If he would have posted Krueger's reaction on Youtube... then I would get it.

When the Blues broke for the offseason, Vladimir Tarasenko headed back to Russia with a message from the club.

“We’ve given him a clear mandate on what we expect when he gets back here, what we’re going to see from him on a conditioning level, the grind that he’s going to have to do," Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said recently.

"We have people in the organization who’s job responsibility it is to monitor that," Armstrong said. "But we need him to take ownership of his conditioning and his training and his preparation, just as we need (Jaden) Schwartz to take control of it. At 21-22 (years old), they’re still learning the game on the ice. They have to become pros off the ice.

"That was the mandate of (Tarasenko) going back ... we’re penciling him into important positions on our team and he’ll never have a chance to fill those if he’s not in shape.â€

Tarasenko also suffered two concussions this season. One each in the KHL and NHL.

Here is the NHL concussion

I don't think I like the idea of Wade Redden winning a Cup. Jagr on the other hand I'd be very happy for him and I've always been a fan of Chara. Rosival, whatever.

yeah **** wade for accepting all that money slats threw at him :shakehead

I wish we had a defenseman who could score 38 points in 42 games and could be counted on to QB a PP. And who has an absolute cannon for a shot.

But I do agree that the Norris is coming to be purely based on points.

That said, Subban isn't some scrub in the defensive zone.

I think Subban was easily the 2nd best choice for the Norris.

But I also think Suter should have it in a landslide. He was simply better than any other defenseman in the league this season by a wide margin, IMO.

Can't help but laugh at the fact that Subban got over 3 minutes more TOI/G on the PP than he did short handed and that Suter averaged over 4 minutes more per night in total TOI.
