Me too…the Hawks are beating the Leafs tonight…maybe theyre a better young team than advertised
Was going to say the same after the result last night.

Outside of the hawks for whatever reason simply being an automatic loss going on a decade now for the Pens they just might be a better team early on here than most give them credit for.

Regardless, young fast teams will probably be a tough matchup all season.

Unless Tampa ties it late here, that will be their third consecutive loss. They might be in bigger trouble than they may have thought with Vasi out for as long as he is.

EDIT: and of course they tie it with seven seconds left lol

I only watched the first period of the Seattle game last night but Dumo's picking up right where he left off for us, looked bad.

Rough start for those guys, winless in 4 and no one can score.

 Mr. Entire Draft Class beating the shit out of Not Ruhwedel.

I don't get the appeal some Penguins fans had with Friedman. Dude had some snarl, sure, but he's way too small to actually use it effectively. Friedman has the same issue that Ruhwedel does, both of them need to be 6'2" and 210 lbs and neither are close to that.

He's getting destroyed analytically tonight, he has an xGF% of 0. That's not a joke, he has an xGF of 0 and an xGA of 1.23.

Dude was just a little shithead. I can only speak for myself, but even a guy who is pissing the opposition off without any ability to win a fight is preferable to Ruhwedel, even if both guys are trash--and I think they are.

Toronto looking like I thought they would. Domi and Klingberg were shitty signings

It’s crazy to think both Penguins and Flyers will be in the playoffs most likely this year.

Flyers really surprising

Most likely?
Uhm, they just slapped the Canucks and Oilers around and had their way with both teams, back to back

Remember Torts and Rangers? They were good, better than current Rangers and they had less talent.

Torts is making the Flyers very hard to play against

The Flyers started out 5-2 in their first seven games under Tortorella last season.
Maybe they sustain their hot start better this season (with more health, to players such as Couturier), but I doubt it would last much longer.
