Noticed that Copp only played under 7 minutes last night. Is he hurt?
He injured his knee and has been on LTIR since March 26. There's a belief amongst many here that Vegas players can't actually be injured but are only faking it for cap purposes.
Maybe people would think different if several VGK players who had at one point been "likely ruled out for the rest of the regular season" by VGK management hadn't all of a sudden made miraculous recoveries as soon as capspace became available (eg Stone, Pacioretty, Martinez).
I think they are injured to the same degree as a bunch of guys on every NHL roster, who are injured but playing through injuries. Certainly not an injury that devastating to be termed "out for the season" by the GM. If they were that badly injured they would not be playing now regardless of how much the team needed them. The fact that it has happened not just once but multiple times with this franchise tells me that they have been exaggerating injuries for caprelief all season and I see no reason to give them the benefit of doubt.I'm sure there's some calculated stuff going on in Vegas but these guys ARE injured to some degree.
Players that are injured to some degree don't belong on LTIR. LTIR was designed for guys like Bryan Little or Chris Pronger who legitimately could not play hockey for health reasons.I'm sure there's some calculated stuff going on in Vegas but these guys ARE injured to some degree.
yup, and out tonight. probably being super cautious.
Stars are up 3-0 against the Yotes at the end of the 2nd period.
Tonight I'm rooting for the Stars.
F*** Vegas!
Couldn't have made it easy lol. Dallas just needs to get it to OT.Coyotes tie it up Vegas and the Hawks heading for OT
For the knights fans.
