Looks like copp is wearing number 18 for the rangers tonight. Apparently 26 and 18 are his favourite numbers. I guess we now know why he wore number nine. Just getting ready to put on the Ranger game kind of curious. Cop is playing on the third line.

Blows my mind the lack of knowledge guys that get paid to watch hockey for a living have.

There was a guy on Twitter yesterday who covers the Oilers saying Brassard is a good PKer. Someone pointed out he's played like a minute total on the PK this season and barely any PK the rest of his career, the reporter doubled down and even made a pseudo threat.

People see bottom 6 forward and they make assumptions.

I cant believe they gave the Leafs the Bruins colours... who ok'd that

If I were the B's I'd release a limited edition Bruins jersey in Leafs colours - numbers 31 anf 43

As in up 3-1 and lost 4-3

Or numbers 41 and 54
As in up 4-1 and lost 5-4

F*** vegas …..

LOL Vegas!

Vegas is currently way over the cap limit. The team was hoping to get some relief in that department by trading Evgenii Dadonov’s $5-million cap hit to Anaheim for a couple of injured players (which would have freed up even more space) in what amounted to a salary dump on Monday. There was only one problem: Dadonov has a no-trade clause and the Golden Knights seemingly forgot that the Ducks were one of the 10 teams on his no-trade list.

As of Wednesday, the 33-year-old winger was still on Vegas’ roster. More importantly, so was his cap hit, meaning the Golden Knights might have to find new and creative ways to clear roughly $15-million in order to activate forward Mark Stone and defenceman Alec Martinez from injured reserve.

The Golden Knights are currently without forwards Eichel, Stone, Max Pacioretty, Reilly Smith, defenceman Martinez and Brayden McNabb, as well as goalie Robin Lehner. That’s more than $44-million in salary sitting out. And unless the team finds a way to bury some of its salaries in the desert, it’s going to be difficult to get them back into the lineup.

I’m cackling like a evil Bond villain. I wonder if this effects the roster in the playoffs (if they even make it)
