I really don’t see a scenario where we make it into the playoffs -the jets left too many points on the board against bad teams this season

I do see a scenario where we fight for a worse draft pick and don’t trade our free agents though

Old guy fashion corner aside, another bad night for the Jets. Really need to start putting together some wins instead of pissing about and hoping for luck.

I see no signs of the Jets going on unbelievable winning streak or all the teams ahead of them doing a dumpster dive.

Yep. I have given up on this season as a lost season. Can't even root for the tank as they are far from tanking and even a tank won't produce any results minimum 2-3 years from now (if that). The only reason I am watching games is to see if Connor can hit 50 goals.

Ya, I put $20 on Connor in December to win the scoring title on Play Now. Nice payout if he does.

I can't think of 5 games where we tried hard for a full 60 minutes. Just watching col vs cgy right now and it's like a completely different league purely due to gaf level. Trade the ufas and whoever is the catalyst of the above.

Absolutely!

Colorado is super skilled and tenacious.

Calgary is not as skilled, but, they make Colorado pay a price in their end.

Other than Dubois and sometimes Lowry, I just don't see that g.a.f. from the Jets.

In the offseason, the deadweight needs to go.

I’m not sure I trust Chipman with his tendency toward blind loyalty to correctly identify any issues in the room and deal with it.

Jason Robertson back to back hattricks.

2nd round pick that was a stud on draft day but scouts didn’t like his skating.

I was surprised to see how big he is... for some reason I thought he was a small 5'9-5'10 ~170 lbs guy. Even more surprising he fell considering that combination of size and scoring in the CHL.

Jets are not built to take the man and finish checks, sure they have some bigger players but they wont do it consistently. 4th line next year should be Lowry and a couple of shit disturbers to rattle to the boards and keep the opposition D on their heels

Mike Essymont has gotten no looks with the big club despite being one of few the guys on the Moose who skates hard, causes chaos and is physical. He always looked good when I was bothering to watch the Moose earlier in the season. Not sure why he hasn't gotten a chance when this team lacks that element.

Not saying the Jets are a Mike Essymont away from being a winning team but considering how meh that 4th line has been, he was worth a look.
