I thought one game for McDavid and five games for Myers, but the Canuck fans wanted ten games or more for Myers.
So Rangers hammer Ottawa at home, shutting them out. Philly beats Detroit in OT, and Montreal beats Tampa 3-2, with a two assist night from Laine.
Eastern playoff race now has 7-12 seeds in the Conference separated by 2 points, and Tampa, 3rd in the Atlantic, one point up on Ottawa, Montreal and Boston, with a game or 2 in hand.
Buckle up.
Georgiev has been the ultimate tank acquisition for the Sharks. Play well, but can't get a save.Sharks up 5-1 on the Preds lose 7-5.
How the Avs managed to beat us so soundly in that series is shocking considering this guy was between the pipes and Helle was in our net.Georgiev has been the ultimate tank acquisition for the Sharks. Play well, but can't get a save.
Wow ... that's what I call a fight.
Toronto is such a overrated team by some its comical. Toronto goals for and against +11 Winnipeg's +50 .Fantilli with the hatty in Toronto, kind of love to see it.
Wow ... that's what I call a fight.
Got a couple of key players back, didn't helputah shut out the wild 4-0
Tocchet wins the Jack Adams and less than a year later there is talk that some players have tuned him out, maybe some of those players should play better, maybe Tocchet isn't that good of a coach.
He looks like he cant understand the deal eitherThis is the best news ever, f-ck you Avs.

While I'm happy to see the back of Rantanen from the Central Division, I fear what the bigger implications of this trade might be. A lot of chatter, be it unsubstantiated, about room being made for a man who wears number 87. If so, I'll be sick to my stomach. This is the best news ever, f-ck you Avs.

From what I've read this evening on the Av's board, that's a huge part of it.That's a surprising but understandable trade for the Avs they were going to have a big problem trying to re sign him
