NEW YORK (AP) — Edmonton Oilers forward Jeff Skinner has been fined $2,000 for embellishment during a recent game against the New York Rangers, the NHL said Monday.

Anybody have a clip to share of the diving ?

Just what the Jets need it for their next game a hot Sabres team ... Sabres 4-0 over Avs after 1st period.

if Scheifele and/or Morrissey don’t make the 4 nations tournament. I am out.
I'm happy ... I want a fresh Scheifele and Morrissey for the playoffs.
Seriously the 4 nations without Russia is dumb and loses its appeal.

Exactly why was walking the line of not watching it as it was.
Either way, I think the Americans are going to slap Canada around.

Big loss for Dallas. Seguin is basically out for the rest of the regular season and possibly the playoffs if its 6 months.

Quite the impressive collapse by Buffalo last night. Up 4-0 on Colorado and they give up 4 goals in the 3rd to lose 5-4.
I'm interested to see how that one turns out because Dallas's top line this year has clearly been Marchment-Duchene-Seguin. Pavelski retiring leaves the hole a bigger one on Dallas RW depth chart. But that's the kind of LTIR injury that Vegas thrives on, opportunity to land a big fish or two with the added Cap space.

Hronek out for 2 months might start the movement for defensemen.

But other than Chicago, Nashville (who is just giving away players), and San Jose is there a team that doesn't think they are still in contention?

I’m actually not a fan of the 4 Nations or any tournament in the middle of an NHL season. I can see why the players and owners want it but as a Jets season seat holder it’s the last thing I am looking forward to. I have $$$ invested in tickets. I don’t want to see guys injured that I have already paid for in advance to watch play hockey. Yes, injuries happen all the time but this is out of the scope of the season. I do like the NBAs club tournament within the regular season. Just my opinion.

Selfishly I am hoping Scheifele doesn't make it so he gets more rest. And maybe a little more fired up. Morrissey is a lock.

That's going to be an interesting tourney because all of a sudden you have stars playing in mid season weeks before the trade deadline on different teams, trying to find chemistry. And I wonder if any trades happen because of the chemistry GMs see there. I wonder who will be the angriest GM if one of their guys gets cheap shotted and injured. Personally if it's not the Olympics or the World Cup I'm not a fan. This tourney is a consolation prize for the NHLPA and a way to generate some interest in a way the NHL all star game can't anymore.

Surprised Jarvis was chosen. Not surprised Scheifele was not.

And I will use this opportunity to say I wanted Jarvis instead of Perfetti at the draft.
