Did they all get into a bar fight

Wow Seth Jarvis beats out scheifele... thats a double gut punch for the jets
Mark Stone being on IR and getting the nod is the one that cracks me up. Maybe they know he'll be fresh, but it's going to be a tough season for Mark to get back in shape for the Four Nations only to be injured before the trade deadline and miraculously be ready for game 1 of the playoffs.

Don Sweeney earlier today said that players who were close but didn't make the cut were told to be ready in case any of the chosen ones could not go.

I’m actually not a fan of the 4 Nations or any tournament in the middle of an NHL season. I can see why the players and owners want it but as a Jets season seat holder it’s the last thing I am looking forward to. I have $$$ invested in tickets. I don’t want to see guys injured that I have already paid for in advance to watch play hockey. Yes, injuries happen all the time but this is out of the scope of the season. I do like the NBAs club tournament within the regular season. Just my opinion.

I think this is a similar reason the owners hate the Olympics. The risk of injury to key players is real.

Games tonight featured 3 of the 4 teams in the Jets losing streak. Vegas wins in Anaheim to pass the Jets in points in the West, with one more game played.

Dallas stays 4 points back of the Jets losing to L.A., who scored 3 goals on 17 shots, coming back from a two goal defecit to win their 4th in a row. If you watch the highlights 2 of those goals are hard working net drives from the Jeannot-Byfield-Foegele line against a softer Dallas defense.

Didn’t realize how brutal the schedule was/is

Quirk or difficult part of schedule: They have a 15-game sequence in which all 15 games are in different cities between Nov 9th and Dec 8th: WPG, NYR, TB, FLA, WPG, PIT, NSH, MIN, LA, VGK, DAL, WPG, BUF, CHI, and WPG.

Trouba didn't live up to his contract with the Rangers for a second. There is a case to be made that he was worse for the Rangers in every single season than he was in his worst season with the Jets.

Clearly all he needs is the embrace of the cold dark north. Have them retain half his contract, and we'll send them Stanley and a cap dump in return.

His game fell off a cliff after he left here.

Oh boo hoo, does he not want to waive the NTC contract you keep handing out like candy?

My guess is he chooses ro waive to a certain team even if not desirable as its better then having no control on where he goes in the waiver process.

He'll come down with an "injury" on the last minute of play in the 4 Nations. Everyone will pan the film and see that accidently ran into the boards at 1 mph....

Trouba was very good here when he was young, plus he was playing on a lot of strong Jets teams and sheltered behind Buff/Enstrom until his last season here. Trouba's peak was early- to mid-20s and he's really fallen off a cliff in the last couple of years.

Karma works in mysterious ways sometimes. Players force their way out of organizations, sometimes picking and choosing only specific locations they can be dealt and then down the road they get forced out of the organization they chose.

Just hope he stays out East. He can be a devastatingly cheap shot hitter that I wouldn’t want to face multiple times a season even though his defensive play seems to have deteriorated.

Feel like Dallas will be in on him.
