Yeah Chevy doesn't really go for expensive washed up guys - and the way that Trouba left - the org works hard to have players who actually want to be here and he doesn't fit that mold.

Maybe after this contract expires (if he's still an NHL player) and he comes with his tail between his legs we give him a 2 way at league minimum :P

Trouba didn't exactly 'want out'. He wanted somewhere his wife could continue her career. Those options were limited. From the time he first indicated he would not be staying here he never pouted or let it affect his game.

I don't know what happened to his game in NY. I suspect he was playing the style he was being asked to play.

He isn't likely to want to come to any Canadian city because his wife's career still doesn't fit in Canada. Her training is not recognized here. But if not for that factor, he might actually want to come back here. Things change, and his wife's career was the main reason for wanting out in the first place.

San Jose gets Colorado's Vezina playoff playing goalie .........
Amazing how fast Georgie's talent drove off a cliff.

Several news headlines talk about the "blockbuster trade" How is this a blockbuster? Recycling losers and marginal players? What is a blockbuster anyway? You look up the defn online and this trade definitely ain't it.
